Denver suffered some major injuries on defense in 2016 and still finished #4 in the league in yards allowed (316.1 per game) and points allowed (18.6).  This year the Broncos have a new defensive coordinator in Joe Woods, and they added nose tackle Domata Peko and end Zach Kerr, which makes them much bigger on the line. Von Miller anchors the linebacking corps again, and the secondary is one of the best in the league. Quarterback Trevor Siemian begins his second season as a starter and still needs to make some progress, and the Broncos have little depth at that position. The Chargers' defensive line is led by Brandon Malone and Corey Liuget, and new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley expects improvement at linebacker. The secondary is also strong with Jason Verrett and Casey Hayward, who are two of the league's best. Los Angeles has gone UNDER its last four Monday games, and they finished last season 4-1-1 UNDER.
