Los Angeles at Arizona

The San Diego Chargers were a team of self destruction last year. They turned the ball over frequently, and even the depth of talent on this team could not make a difference. Their special teams units were a joke, and alone cost them two or three games. This is week three of the preseason - the week where we see a lot of starters playing extended minutes, but that has not helped San Diego in the past. In the last four years, with a wealth of talent, the Chargers have been outscored in week three by 15 points. They have not won a game during the stretch by more than 2 points. The Arizona offense, which scored 20 points or more just six times all of last season, has shown life in the exhibition season, scoring 20 and 24 points in their two games. The Chargers’ track record in game three, just like their season last year, does not match the level of talent, so I like Arizona here as a live home dog.
