It has to happen sooner or later. The Tom Brady-led New England offense has been all but unstoppable year after year, but is this the year it begins to come tumbling down? Brady isn't getting any younger, and his corps of receivers are not the "elite" group we have seen in the past. Brady has just two TD passes in two games and is throwing for a career low 5.2 yards per attempt. Is this the year? It's still unknown but it's not looking good. Then when you look at Stevan Ridley generating 3.7 yards per carry and you realize that the reality is that the New England offense just doesn't look the same. Julian Edelman has been great, but no other Pats' receiver that has caught more than one ball, has generated even as much as 10 yards per catch. Do a rewind to last season and there were ten. Oakland has generated just 14 points in each of their two losses, so don't expect much scoring here from them as rookie QB Derek Carr is averaging just 5.6 yards per attempt, and no one has more than 57 yards on the ground through two games. This doesn't look like the typical Patriots team, and the number here does not reflect that. This one stays UNDER.
