The Oakland Raiders sit at the top of the division at 10-2, but the Chiefs are right on their heels at 9-3. The Raiders offense is above average but the defense is below average at an even higher rate. The Chiefs have thrived against good passing offenses like Oakland's, going 14-3 straight-up since last season vs. teams that complete over 60% of their passes. They are also 8-1 straight-up in division games over that span. This game is likely to come down to three things, and the Chiefs hold the cards for all three. The game time temperature is supposed to be around 20, falling into the teens during the game, and Oakland isn't exactly acclimated to that. The Chiefs are home for Thursday Night Football where they have made rare appearances - just three times since 2004, so the place is going to be electric, and the Chiefs are 3-0 SU/ATS in those three prime time appearances. Finally, the Chiefs have the intangibles as they have scored six times without their offense on the field.
