Las Vegas coach Josh McDaniels hasn't had much success in the regular season, but he 6-0 straight up and ATS in preseason in his two years with the Raiders and 9-5 ATS when adding his time with Denver. The Raiders disposed of the Rams 34-17 in Week 2 with Aidan O'Connell the surprise star of the game as he threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions and Brian Hoyer was 12 of 22 for 144 yards. Jimmy Garoppolo saw his first action with Las Vegas and led a 68-yard drive while completing all four passes for 39 yards. McDaniels' recent record in preseason games is a sharp contrast with Dallas' historically bad preseasons. The Cowboys already are 0-2 both straight up and ATS this year and 4-13 ATS since 2018. Dallas stayed UNDER by 4.5 points in Week 2 while losing 22-14 to Seattle. Will Grier and Cooper Rush combined for 22 of 32 for 199 yards and one TD with an interception. Dak Prescott hasn't played a preseason game since 2019 and won't this week either. Dallas is 6-3 UNDER its past nine preseason games versus AFC opponents. O'Connell and Hoyer will battle for the first backup spot in the regular season, but the Cowboys have no such motivation in this game and the Raiders have allowed an average of just 12 points their first two games. Take the Raiders ATS, and the UNDER as a Max Play.
