I'm not going to pretend to know with 100% certainty what the Kansas City Chiefs' are shooting for in this preseason. But, if you take a look at the last dozen years, you might be able to come to a rational conclusion. The Chiefs are 12-33-3 ATS in the last 12 years and 31-17 to the UNDER. It seems that the organizational philosophy is to try to shorten these games as much as possible to get in the locker room, period. The Saints are always considered an offensive team, but these games may carry that regular season reputation with them. The reality is, however, in their first preseason game over the last seven years, the Saints have seen the total points scored in their games top the 35-point mark just one time. So, I hardly expect a track meet here. Kansas City typically plays to shorten the game, and New Orleans seems secure in its offense. Play this one to stay UNDER the total.
