With all their offense and the stellar play of Phillip Rivers, the San Diego Chargers find themselves with very little chance to play themselves into the postseason at 2-7. They have out-gained their opponents by 42 yards per game, but the difference has all been given back because their opponents yard per point is four yards better. The defense has done a poor job of turning opponents over, as they have finished three of their last four games with zero takeaways. The Chiefs are a prime example of the power of turnovers, as they have not turned the ball over at all in each of their last three games, all wins, while the opponent has made 10 miscues. Better than that, the Chiefs have come together as a team in their last five games, as no one has scored more than 18 points against them, allowing just 14 ppg. Put it all together and you have a team that has likely lost its fight out of the playoff picture vs. a rejuvenated team that is playing at a very high level all the way around. Play on Kansas City.
