Andy Reid has shown what a great coach he is by fixing numerous problems that Kansas City had early in the season, and the Chiefs now have won six in a row while allowing an average of only 10.8 points per game. The Chiefs humiliated the Las Vegas Raiders 48-9 on Sunday as Patrick Mahomes completed 20 of 24 passes for 258 yards and no interceptions, as the Chiefs forged a 35-3 halftime lead to put it away early. Kansas City is in a revenge situation as the Chargers won the first meeting 30-24 in September when the Chiefs appeared to be a different team than they are now. Los Angeles mostly has won against mediocre teams this season, including 37-21 over the Giants last week. This will be the toughest test of the year for the Chargers, who don't enjoy much of a home-field advantage as opposing teams' fans often outnumber the local fans. There's no denying Justin Herbert's remarkable talent, but the Kansas City defense will be motivated to show its quarterback is better and the Chargers have several defensive players on the COVID-19 list.
