The Las Vegas players won't admit that their off-field problems had something to do with their performance while losing to the New York Giants, but one has to wonder after the Raiders squandered several scoring opportunities while outgaining the Giants, 403-245. Derek Carr had his worst game of the season completing 30 of 46 with 2 interceptions. Kansas City got to play the Packers, who were without Aaron Rodgers and won 13-7, but the Chiefs are averaging only 12 points their last three games. There are rumblings that Pat Mahomes may be a bit overrated or else opposing defenses have adjusted to him as he had another below-average day, finishing 20 of 37 for 166 yards, his fewest in a full game in his career. The Chiefs managed just 237 yards of total offense. Las Vegas covered both meetings last year, and it has covered seven of its last 10 versus AFC West teams. Kansas City has been a money burner with a 5-16 ATS record in its past 21 games and 3-13 ATS following a win. Also, the Chiefs are 1-10 ATS versus AFC teams. Look for Las Vegas to block the outside distractions this week. Take the Raiders.
