The Lions played Nate Sudfield and Adrian Martinez at quarterback in their 21-16 victory over the Giants and Martinez had the winning score with a quarterback sneak in the final two minutes. Sudfield was 15 of 28, but threw two interceptions. Detroit averaged only 2.9 yards per carry and held New York to 81 yards rushing on 22 carries. Jacksonville coach Doug Pederson is 11-9-1 UNDER in preseason. Detroit wide receiver Jameson Williams is out for the preseason with a hamstring injury.
