The NFL preseason is in its final game, and neither of these teams have managed yet to produce a winner. Jacksonville has allowed 27 or more points in all three games for an average of 31.7 points per game. That is ridiculous in the preseason given that the average points allowed in these games overall this season is just 20.6. They simply do not have the offensive weapons to come up with a win when allowing so many points, especially with Blaine Gabbert and MJD expected to see zero playing time. The Falcons have not been much better, but the bench in Atlanta is simply better than what is on the bench in Jacksonville. Atlanta head coach said this week that this game is "very important." Home dogs have done extremely well in these games over the years and we have another one here that shouldn't be taking points. Gus Bradley is obviously not seeing the pressure of winning here and would rather evaluate what he has then go into the regular season healthy. Atlanta is 13-4 ATS in their last 17 preseason games following a double-digit loss. Play on the home dog here.
