The Colts impressed last week, cruising to a 38-3 win over St. Louis. Andrew Luck looked great and everything went Indy's way, including a 2-0 turnover advantage. Things will be a lot tougher here on the road in Pittsburgh. Mike Tomlin plays these games to win, having gone 16-6 straight-up and 13-8-1 ATS in his career including 8-2 at home. His team had a healthy lead against cross-town Philadelphia in week one, only to see a 51-yard field goal at the buzzer result in a loss. Although these games don't count, they do matter to some coaches. Tomlin is a disciplinarian and he has shown he wants his teams to perform well in these games. After that loss, I expect a good effort from him and his team. And, that should be enough for a healthy win against the Colts. Despite their impressive performance last week, Indy still has a lot of work to do and playing an elite program vs. one of the worst, will have a different result this week. In week two of the preseason, teams off a loss vs. teams off a win perform very well against the spread as one team is happy while the other is striving to perform better than the week prior. Take the Steelers to win and cover.
