Indianapolis comes in off a wild game at Detroit. The Lions got a big lead, blew it and then marched into field goal range in under a minute to win on a Matt Prater 43-yard field goal - after he had missed a costly extra-point. The teams racked up nearly 900 combined total net yards while Matt Stafford was 31-of-39 for 340 yards and Andrew Luck finished 31-of-47 for 385 yards. It was one of those games that whichever team had the ball last was going to win. The Colts defense allowed 4.8 yards per carry against the Lions, who are not known for their running game. The Colts have played Denver the last three seasons with each game going OVER the total, including last year when the Colts won 27-24 and the posted total was 45. Indy has gone OVER five of its last seven road games. Denver quarterback Trevor Siemian started slow in the opener against Carolina, but did enough in the fourth quarter to get the Broncos the win. Siemian finished 18-of-26 for 178 yards with two interceptions and showed some scrambling ability. C.J. Anderson gained 92 yards on 20 carries. The Colts have some injuries in the defensive backfield including Patrick Robinson (concussion) and T.J. Green (knee). They already were without cornerback Vontae Davis, who injured his ankle in the preseason. A banged-up and tired Indy defense in the altitude of Denver and Siemian getting comfortable with the offense makes this a high-scoring contest. Take the OVER.
