Indianapolis at Cincinnati

Indianapolis was coming off a short week and an overtime game when it faced Jacksonville on Sunday, but the Colts look to bounce back while getting double-digit points in this matchup with Cincinnati. The Bengals come off a 29-14 loss at Pittsburgh to drop to 2-4 on the season and Andy Dalton threw two more interceptions and now has eight picks compared to nine touchdown passes. Also, curiously, running back Joe Mixon and star wide receiver A.J. Green did not touch the ball in the second half. The Cincy offense that had shown improvement since Bill Lazor took over as offensive coordinator after Week 2 appears to have stalled. The Bengals managed only 11 first downs and 179 yards against the Steelers. Andrew Luck is still out. Jacoby Brissett gets the nod again after he was 22-of-37 for 200 yards against the Jaguars with no interceptions. The Colts are 30-11 ATS their last 41 games after a loss and 27-10 ATS their last 37 games against teams with losing records. Under Chuck Pagano, the Colts are 21-9 ATS following a loss including 11-3 ATS after a 2+ TD loss. Why a 2-4 team, that is averaging just 16.3 points per game, laying this many points? Cincinnati has no business laying this many points to any team and Indy is in a much better scheduling situation than last week.
