Indianapolis at Cincinnati

The Colts may have a winning preseason record, but this rebuilding group has a lot of holes. The biggest for this game is QB Andrew Luck, who won't play due to battling a foot injury. The young defense has struggled in their transition to a 4-3 under coordinator Matt Eberflus. The Colts had problems stopping the San Francisco 49ers last week, surrendering 126 yards rushing and 264 passing. The 49ers dominated Indianapolis with their running game, getting inside Colts territory all four times with their starters in the first half. The Colts allowed only six points on those four possessions, but the 49ers made it inside the red zone three times. After playing two straight home games the Colts head out on the road for a meaningless tilt. They also open the regular season against this same Cincinnati squad, so the visitors won't show anything. The Bengals have better talent and depth, especially on a defense that looks like one of the better units in the league. The Bengals are 3-0 SU/ATS this preseason, winning by an average of eight points. With Coach Marvin Lewis 10-5 straight-up in Week 4 of preseason, this is another great spot for the home team to win and cover. Play Cincinnati.
