Houston at Los Angeles

Houston is unbeaten in preseason, with the defense allowing 10 and 13 points. They opened with an impressive 17-10 win at Kansas City allowing 73 yards rushing, just 3.2 yards per carry, then shut down San Francisco last week, allowing 84 yards rushing, 3.1 ypc, while getting a pair of interceptions. This team is strong on the defensive line, while the secondary added star safety Tyrann Mathieu from the Cardinals, cornerback Aaron Colvin from the Jaguars, and rookie safety Justin Reid (third round). The QB rotation is highly mobile with Deshaun Watson, Joe Webb and Brandon Weeden, with the trio having only one sack in two games. In last week's win, starting receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller didn't even play, but now for Week 3 they and all the starters will see the most time. They face a Los Angeles Rams team that dazzled on offense last season but has shown none of that this August, averaging 13 points per game. The Rams had just 215 total yards last week (2.3 yards per carry) and were 2-of-14 on third down in a 19-15 win over the Raiders. The defensive depth is impressive, holding the Raiders to 223 total yards, just 1-of-10 on third down. Back the talented and deep visitors in a contest with more defense than offense.
