What a disappointing season it has been for Houston. This team was expected to compete at the top of the AFC, but instead their coach has been fired, and are off of what is now an 11-game losing streak. When you tie it all together, nothing fuels a bad line like a team losing pretty much every week. The fact is that the long losing streak is a positive, as teams in the NFL on longer than an eight-game losing streak are 59-37-3 ATS, covering a healthy 61.5%. It isn't like the Texans have stopped battling either, as each of their last seven losses have been by one possession. Despite their 8-5 record, Indianapolis has also been a team that has been struggling. They have not been able to put a team away since early in the season, as they have not beaten any team by more than one possession in each of the last 10 weeks. A telltale for the Colts is when they allow 150+ rushing in their pervious game, as they are 0-4 ATS in the game that follows. This one is closer than it looks, so take the points on Houston.
