Arizona impressed last season under Bruce Arians, going from 5-11 to 10-6 SU and 10-5-1 ATS. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles brought in a 3-4 base last year, essentially trying to copy the Steelers, and this team made huge strides, #14 against the pass and #1 against the run allowing 84.4 yards per game. QB Carson Palmer upgraded the passing offense and will get 15 snaps here. Arians said rookie Logan Thomas would play the entire fourth quarter against the Texans, and that Ryan Lindley would play the middle. They have home field for this one while Houston has a new coaching staff and playbook to digest. The QB rotation doesn't look that good in Ryan Fitzpatrick, Case Keenum, and Tom Savage. Keenum has appeared overwhelmed in practice missing targets and sometimes reverting to the bad side of his gunslinger nature. The QBs acknowledged this week that learning Bill O’Brien’s offense remains a work in progress. All of which will be a problem against a great defense and this home crowd. Go with Arizona.
