The Green Bay Packers are one of the favorites to land in the Super Bowl this season. They will, however, have to replace their top receiver in Jordy Nelson who went down with a knee injury in preseason, and is lost for the season. That might not be so hard to overcome, but Randall Cobb also suffered a shoulder injury, and while he is expected to play, he may not be at full capacity. That may put a lot of the onus on Eddie Lacy to get a lot of carries in this game. Chicago remains steadfast with Jay Cutler who simply has not been consistent, and he did end a lot of drives last season with 18 INTs. Look for the Bears to try and eat clock and shorten the game by pounding the rock with Matt Forte, as the Packers were truly vulnerable to the run last season. The Bears have stayed UNDER the total in 8 of their last 11 season openers, and the Packers offense will have to find some new chemistry, and don't usually score as easily on the road as they do at home. Chicago has gone UNDER the total at a 63% clip at home as an underdog of up to 7. This one stays UNDER the total.
