The Packers are off to a big start in defense of their Super Bowl win of a year ago. The offense is full of weapons and the quarterback is Hall of Fame caliber. By the way, Brett Favre is a jealous petty person and he needs to shut his pie-hole. Moving on. If there is a weakness after four weeks for this team, it is the defense, which was a strong point a year ago. They enter this game however ranked No. 28 in the league, giving up 407 yards per game. They have especially been giving up huge chunks of real estate in the air at 335 yards per game. The Falcons were the best team in the NFC in terms of wins a year ago, beating Green Bay here during the regular season, only to see the Pack turn that around in the playoffs. This is a huge revenge game for the Falcons who are desparate for a win to get to 3-2 vs. 2-3. They are just .500 so far and are considered a major disappointment but slow down a second. They have only played one at home (which they won) where they are 9-1 in their last 10 regular season games in Hotlanta. The lone loss over the past ten games was by a mere 3 points. The Packers have not fared well recently off a big win by 14 points or more where they are just 2-5 ATS in the game that follows. Atlanta is not only good at home they have relished the challenge of playing as a home dog at 5-1 ATS in their last six. Mike Smith prepares his team following a bad outing. The Falcons are 15-4 ATS under Smith following an ATS loss. Add-in revenge as a motivator and I like Atlanta's chances here.
