Detroit at Tampa Bay

A pair of teams with strong quarterback play and suspect defenses clash. Detroit is fifth in the league in scoring (26.2 points per game) behind QB Matthew Stafford. Stafford ranks second in the NFL with 3,302 passing yards, while throwing for 22 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. But the defense is poor, #26 in yards allowed and points (25.7 ppg). They come off a 44-20 loss at Baltimore last week, allowing 24, 24, 30 and 44 points the last four contests. Detroit is 10-4 OVER the total on the road against a team with a losing home record. Tampa Bay is #13 in the NFL in yards on offense, but #31 on defense. The Buccaneers have lost two straight contests and seven of nine, giving up 60 points the last two games combined.  Tampa Bay's defense was gashed for a season-high 199 yards on the ground last week and ranks #24 in points allowed.
