Detroit at Dallas

The Dallas Cowboys are 12-2 on the season with both losses coming at the hands of the New York Giants. Dallas appears to have taken their foot off the gas of late as they have been out-gained by three of their last four opponents. And with the #1 seed locked up, it is hard to see this team being highly motivated for this game that means very little. They may even pull some starters during this one. Detroit, on the otherhand, has their fate in their own hands. With a win tonight, the Lions clinch a Wild Card playoff spot. Win or lose, though, they will face Green Bay, winners of five straight, for the NFC North title next week. I'm sure they want to win here to ensure a playoff spot and to take the pressure off that last game so they can play loose. The Lions are 15-7 SU in their last 22 games, and surprising to many have the third highest winning percentage in the NFL over that time frame. The Lions have gone those 22 games losing just one time by more than seven points. Under Jason Garrett, the Cowboys are a woeful 21-37 ATS when laying points including 11-26 ATS as home chalk.
