Detroit at Chicago

The Chicago Bears are a mess right now at 0-3. Injuries have really begun to stack up, especially on defense. The Bears have eight players already on the IR, five of which are defenders. They have five others that will become eligible later in the season, four of which are defenders, and they have four questionable defenders for this game. That is a total of 13 defensive players out for the season, appear later in the season, or questionable for this game. As it is, the Bears are allowing nearly 28 points per game, and it sure could get worse in this game vs. the Lions. Lions QB Matthew Stafford has been at his best in his career vs. poor teams, leading the Lions to a 30.2 points per game average when squaring off against a team that is .250 or below. He has also thrown 2.5 TDs on average  per game against them. Unfortunately for Detroit, they have allowed even more points than the Bears this season, at 28.3 ppg. Brian Hoyer is the likely starter here, and he has led his team to 25.9 ppg when the opposing defense is allowing 25.3 to 31.3 points per game. There is a lot of room for this one to get OVER the top, so play this one to finis OVER.
