The first game with a new coach in all sports is usually a good bet as the players want to impress the new man at the helm, and there is a refreshing change of pace. The disastrous Matt Patricia era is over, and Darrell Bevell takes over as interim coach. He already has said that he still thinks the Lions can gain a Wildcard spot. That may be a little too ambitious, but at least it gives the team some motivation for the rest of the season. Chicago has hit rock bottom losing five in a row, which proves that their earlier success was a fluke. The Bears lost to Green Bay, 41-25, but it wasn't that close as they scored 15 fourth-quarter points after everything was decided. Mitchell Trubisky went 26 of 46 for 242 yards with three TDs and two interceptions. Detroit looks to avenge an earlier 27-23 loss to the Bears in a game the Lions should have won, and Chicago is 3-11 ATS its last 14 games following a loss and 1-12 ATS its last 13 games in Week 13.
