Fans and the media are ripping the Broncos in Denver this week after a poor showing against a division rival. They are primed for a bounce-back effort on national TV against a marquee team. And let's not bury this talented team yet. Denver has the #1 defense in the NFL, allowing 272.5 yards per game, 35 yards per contest better than Seattle. They are also #1 in points allowed and against the pass, which is what the Steelers do best. The Broncos are 10-3 ATS after a straight-up loss and 11-4 ATS in December, and are used to cooler temperatures this time of the season. While most NFL teams in 2015 don't have one healthy quarterback the Broncos have two, with Brock Osweiler starting but Peyton Manning is back at practice and potentially available. Coach Gary Kubiak has also come under fire after the loss, but this guy is an above-average offensive mind. He was offensive coordinator of the Ravens last season and called a brilliant game in the playoffs against the eventual champion Patriots. The Ravnes ended up losing that one 35-28, but the talented New England defense was on its heels all game. Denver is 33-13 OVER the total against a team with a winning record, plus 43-15-3 OVER after a loss. They face a talented Pittsburgh passing attack, but a weak secondary. The Steelers are second to last, allowing 279 yards per game. Pittsburgh is 11-4-1 OVER the total against a team with a winning record, as well as 20-9-1 OVER at home versus a team with a winning road record. Denver has only one road loss all season and the Pittsburgh defense has been torched for 39 points against Seattle and 35 against Oakland in the last five weeks. Take Denver and the OVER.
