After its 34-31 loss at Oakland, San Diego has gone OVER in four of its five games this season. The Chargers are averaging 30.4 points per game while their opponents are scoring 28.4 points per contest. San Diego is ranked eighth in total offense yards and #23 on defense, allowing 375 yards per game. The vaunted Denver defense showed some cracks as Matt Ryan and the Falcons outgained the Broncos 372-267 and Ryan finished 15-of-28 for 267 yards and Devonta Freeman added 88 yards on the ground. The Broncos have gone OVER in three of their five games and they are 45-16-3 to the OVER their last 64 games after a loss. The Chargers have also gone OVER five straight when following a loss. Philip Rivers threw for 359 yards against the Raiders and Melvin Gordon gained 69 yards on 16 carries. If the Chargers are able to run the ball at all and Gordon can avoid fumbling, the Broncos will be vulnerable again with Rivers using play-action as Ryan did last week. This one finishes OVER.
