The Denver Broncos were once left for dead in the AFC West with their 1-4 start, have reversed their fortunes behind the leadership and moxie of Tim Tebow. The Tebow-led Broncos are on a 4-1 run in his five appearances. While I don't see Tebow as a long-term viable quarterback in the NFL, right now he's getting it done. San Diego continues their erratic and enigmatic ways as this talented team sits below the Broncos in the standings at 4-6. The Chargers’ defense has taken a step backward, trying to overcome bad field position from a turnover-happy offense. They have shown signs of wearing down as they have allowed 23 or more points in each of their last six games, while the offense remains productive in spite of themselves, scoring 20 points or more in all but one game on the season. The Broncos have been a decidedly OVER team in their last 31 games, posting a 22-9 mark to the OVER, including a similar streak within the division at 21-8 to the OVER. After running for 90 yards or less, the Chargers have come back in their next game to play to a 33-16-2 mark to the OVER in their last 51 games. These clubs have teamed-up to top the total in eight of their last 11 meetings. Play the OVER in this one.
