Denver at Kansas City

Denver has won two in a row and both were as an underdog against the Chargers and Texans. Rookie Drew Lock passed for 309 yards and three touchdowns and the Broncos scored on their first five possessions against Houston.  This week Denver is nearly a double-digit dog again against Kansas City, which is in a letdown spot following a huge win at New England. Patrick Mahomes completed 26-of-40 for 283 yards against the Patriots in a game filled with bad calls by the officials. The Broncos got a good performance from their offensive line, which was a concern earlier in the season and defensively Denver ranks #12 in the NFL in yards allowed and sixth in passing yards allowed. Kansas City is 6-1 away and only 3-3 at home and the Broncos have covered four of their last five games as road underdogs and five of their last six overall. Denver is 7-3 ATS the last 10 meetings at Arrowhead Stadium and the road team has covered the number the last four meetings. The Chiefs won the first meeting 30-6 in October, but Joe Flacco was the QB in that game and the Broncos have split six games since. Look for Denver to stay within the number, so play the Broncos.
