The Bengals have a game under their belt, but not one to be proud of as only a fourth quarter touchdown prevented the shutout in their opener. Teams that lose in game one have a tendency to step up in their next game during the exhibition season. And, teams that put up an offensive stinker in game one also tend to show up the next time out. Denver had a long run of taking these games as being meaningful under Mike Shanahan who produced a 39-25 mark during the NFLX. Things have changed under McDaniels. Last year the Broncos did not find the win column until their finale. This is no surprise given where he came from (Belichick 10-14 the past five years in the preseason). We have a team that stunk up the joint in game one, which usually means a much better effort in game two against a team that hasn't shown up under their new head coach the way that they used to. Cincinnati gets this one.
