Time for a little letdown for Seattle and a "must-win" for Dallas. Did I say must-win in the preseason? Yeah. Well, it's a bit tongue-in-cheek. Of course it's not a must win. But, Dallas needs/wants this one worse than Seattle. You could say after Seattle's 34-15 win last week over New Orleans, they are getting a bit content. Holmgren said this week, "This has been one of the best camps we have had from a teaching standpoint and a retention standpoint. The young guys learned. They had a great effort all the way around." Holmgren has also said he'll "substitute freely" to get a feel for players in positions that are "still up in the air." He said he's "not talking about starters, necessarily, but who makes the team." Dallas on the other hand lost a game to Arizona in which they played less than stellar. This doesn't sit well with Bill Parcells who plays the preseason to win. He's a career 72% winner in the preseason including 3-1 last year. Teams that were supposed to win and lost that are now facing a team that was supposed to lose and won, tend to do very well against-the-spread. Dallas wants this one more. One star on the Cowboys.
