Dallas was seventh in the NFL in yards allowed and its defense was the main reason why the Cowboys pulled out a 24-22 win over Seattle. The Cowboys allowed only 299.0 yards and 20.2 points per game and they were fifth in rush defense, giving up 94.6 yards per game. In contrast, Los Angeles was #23 in yards allowed overall and was dead last defensively in rushing yards per carry by opponents (5.07). Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 137 yards and the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter in the win over the Seahawks. Dak Prescott finished 22-of-33 for 226 yards and flipped head-first into the end zone for a first down. The Cowboys now have won eight of their last nine games, including 6-3 ATS. They would have covered last week if not for an injury to Seattle's kicker, Sebastian Janikowski, which forced the Seahawks to go for it on fourth down and to go for two points after their final touchdown. The Rams have had some troubles when facing good defensive teams as they lost at Chicago and at home against Philadelphia before beating doormats Arizona and San Francisco. They are 0-4-1 ATS their last five against teams with winning records. The Cowboys' last-minute victory over the Giants in an otherwise meaningless game gave them confidence and momentum heading into the playoffs and it showed against the Seahawks. The Rams have gone OVER their last four home games and five of their last seven versus teams with winning records. Also, the Rams are 9-4 OVER their last 13 games after scoring at least 30 their previous game. Play the Cowboys and the OVER.
