Dallas coach Jason Garrett is terrible in preseason. He's 5-11 against the spread, as he rarely cares about the games. And why would he care about this one? QB Tony Romo is coming back from an injury, so keeping him healthy is priority number one, and they've already lost #2 QB Kellen Moore for three weeks. That means rookie QB Dak Prescott and Jameill Showers will share the load Saturday. That will also mean a boring, vanilla game plan as Dallas focuses more on Week 2, when playing at home versus Miami. The Rams return to Los Angeles after two decades in St. Louis, so this is a big event for the area fans and the players. The Rams are being featured on TV's Hard Knocks and Jeff Fisher has been vocal, even cussing about how his team is off a disappointing campaign with a lot to prove. Fisher told his players that mediocrity was unacceptable. Fisher is starting to feel the heat for several underachieving seasons. There is a lot of talent on this team, particularly on defense, and the offense moved up to draft QB Jared Goff. The QB competition is fierce with Case Keenum battling Goff and Sean Mannion.
