Dallas at Arizona

The Dallas Cowboys were living large a year ago as they got a huge lift from rookie QB Dak Prescott and rookie RB Ezekiel Elliot. Things have not gone so well so far this season. Prescott has struggled through two games with three TDs and two INTs and averaging just 5.7 yards per attempt and he is nursing a bad ankle. Elliot is also struggling, generating just 3.4 yards a tote and has yet to have a run of more than 10 yards. Elliot is turning quickly into a problem child, and many in the locker room are questioning his efforts. They beat the hapless Giants in week one, but were crushed in Denver 42-17 the following week. The Cardinals got a big lift with an overtime win in Indianapolis last week, but have yet to get the ground game going. Including the pre-season, Arizona has played three of their last four in the Eastern time zone and look forward to a more spirited effort tonight, especially with Dallas as the opponent. Carson Palmer has won 24 of his last 36 home games, averaging over 25 points per game. Under Jason Garrett, the Cowboys are just 23-39 ATS as a favorite while the Cards are 9-1 ATS under Bruce Arians as a home dog of 7 points or less. I like the Cards to step up at home and at least keep this close. Make the play on Arizona.
