Dallas is focused on getting its best players healthy before the regular season starts. In the Hall of Fame opener last week, the Cowboys held back 16 players from the trip, including QB Dak Prescott, who is dealing with a shoulder strain. The QB rotation drops off sharply with Cooper Rush, Garrett Gilbert, and Ben DiNucci. They won't be showing much on offense, their last road game in August with a pair of home games in Weeks 2 and 3. Arizona won't risk an injury to talented young Kyler Murray, and there is below-average depth with QBs Colt McCoy and Chris Streveler hogging most of the playing time. Coach Kliff Kingsbury showed nothing in Week 1 of his last preseason in a 17-13 win at home over the Chargers. The Cardinals attempted 32 passes with 25 runs, while the Chargers ran (28 times) more than they passed (23). That was a typical Week 1 game where both coaches wanted to get a look at the kids and stay healthy, as this one looks to be. Play the UNDER.
