Cleveland at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is known for defense. But this year they are slipping under the radar a bit. The Steelers defense has had trouble with just one team this season - the Baltimore Ravens. The two games they played the Ravens saw them give up 35 and 23 points - more than they have allowed vs. any other team. Outside of those games they have allowed a ridiculous 13.7 points per game this season! They have taken over the top rung on the defensive ladder from the Houston Texans in fewest yards allowed per game. It has now been a decade plus two that the Steelers defense has ranked in the top 10 in fewest yards allowed per game, and the only team to do so for 12 consecutive years. They have taken five #1 finishes in the 12 years. The last two games they have been even better allowing one TD in their last two games. On the season, Pittsburgh has allowed 12.8 per game at home. The Browns offense is in trouble here as they have not scored more than 20 points now for 10 straight weeks, averaging 12 points per game over their last seven contests. The Browns do however play well on the defensive side of the ball as they have allowed a highly-respectable 18.4 ppg over their last eight games. The Steelers offense has gone for 25 or less in nine of their twelve games. The temperature will be in the 20s tonight in Pittsburgh, which won't help matters in terms of scoring. Cleveland is now 18-6-2 to the UNDER in their last 26 December games. This season the Browns started off going 3-1 to the OVER but have since gone UNDER in seven of their last eight games. The Steelers have played five of their last six at home vs. a losing team to the UNDER. Play this one to finish UNDER the total.
