The Ravens’ offense has been handled by two tough defenses in the first two weeks, scoring 20 total points. But that was the Jets and Bengals. I look for them to breakout at home in this one vs. the Browns. Baltimore has scored 145 points vs. the Browns in their last five meetings, and there is certainly more to this Ravens’ offense than we have seen through the first two weeks. The Browns offense, although not a top rated unit, is much improved from where it was at the beginning of last year. They opened the season scoring a grand total of 78 points through their first nine games last year (8.7 points per game). Their next nine games, including the two this year, the Brownies have scored 194 (21.6 ppg), an improvement of 250%. That is a giant leap forward of nearly two TDs per game. These teams have played to the OVER in five of their last seven meetings in Baltimore. We get a low number based on the perception that the these two offenses are very weak. But that simply isn't true. I like the OVER in this one.
