Washington is riding high after ending Baltimore's 24-game preseason win streak as Sam Howell made a good impression and earned the starting role for the regular season. Howell completed 19 of 25 for 188 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions as the Commanders won 29-28 on a last-minute 49-yard field goal by Joey Slye. Cincinnati comes off a 13-13 tie against Atlanta. Jake Browning went 16-for-22 for 140 yards, but the only touchdown was scored on the ground by Chase Brown and the Bengals managed only 83 rushing yards and Browning got 50 of them. Cincinnati's backup QBs have yet to throw a TD pass in this preseason and they have three interceptions for a 57.5 passer rating. Take the Commanders.
