Cincinnati at New England

The Bengals are getting a lot of ink early, and have heard some predict them into the Super Bowl this season. The New England offense which peaked in the 2008 season at 36.8 points per game has dropped to 26.7 ppg last year for a 10-point decline. I'm not sure that if early on they are going to be ready to pour on the points as Wes Welker will need time to get comfortable, and Randy Moss is pouting over a new contract - that will not likely happen in New England. The Bengals made strides on offense, but the defense is going to be the calling card for this team. Last season they held 11 of 16 teams to 20 points or less. They are another, amongst many teams playing UNDER early, with four of their last five openers failing to reach the total. The Pats finished out last year with just two of their last eight topping the total, and just one of the last five at home. I like the UNDER in this one.
