The Cincinnati Bengals have to be wondering if they have the right guy running the offense in QB Andy Dalton. Dalton has been brilliant at times, and listless at others, and still has not directed the Bengals to a playoff win. Cincinnati begins 2015 as the team that has gone the longest in the NFL without a playoff win, as the last came in 1991. Oakland has not found their way to the playoffs since 2002, and have not posted a winning season since either. Oakland got more than expected out of Derek Carr at QB, but it ended right there, as the Raiders attack managed just 282 yards per contest, and that doesn't translate to a total in the 40s. The Raiders are still without a running game, and the offense may be better with Amari Cooper as a target for Carr, but how much better? Oakland's defense just got better with the addition of Aldon Smith. The Bengals can play defense, and as a result, their last seven road games have all played UNDER the total. Since the arrival of Marvin Lewis, Cincinnati is 56-41 UNDER when the total is not set at an extreme (i.e. it's between 42.5 and 49 points). This series has also seen five of the last six fail to make it to the total as well. Only one way to go - the UNDER gets the call.
