It's beginning to look like Baker Mayfield just isn't going to be an NFL-caliber quarterback as he's in his third season and still throwing the ball to the wrong team and missing open receivers. Mayfield went 21 for 39 for 189 yards and was sacked twice in Cleveland's 38-6 blowout loss to the Ravens. Meanwhile, the Browns defense had no answer for Lamar Jackson, who threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns to spoil the debut of yet another new head coach, Kevin Stefanski. No. 1 pick Joe Burrow didn't have a good day either, but considering it was his first pro game, and without a preseason, he did well to keep Cincinnati in the game until the end. The Bengals are 9-2 ATS the last 11 meetings, and they have covered five of the last six at Cleveland. Cincy is 33-16-2 ATS its last 51 September games and it has gotten the money eight of its last 11 as a road underdog. The Browns are 24-49-2 ATS their last 75 games, and they don't bounce back well as they haven't covered their last four games after losing by at least 14 points. Look for Burrow to make fewer mistakes now that he has a game under his belt while Mayfield may never improve much. Take the points with the Bengals.
