The Minnesota Vikings have had one of those seasons where nothing has gone right, and the talented players they have had all missed time at some point of the season. They just lost arguably their best player as Adrien Peterson went down with a torn ACL and MCL. Christian Ponder is recovering from a concussion, but likely takes snaps in this game. The Bears offense did nothing behind Caleb Hanie who threw 9 INTs to just 3 TDs and probably cost the Bears a playoffs spot. Josh McCown took over last week and promptly infused life into the Bears offense throwing for 221 yards. Kahlil Bell also showed promise as he rushed for 121 yards, as the Bears offense looked much better. The Vikings at 3-12 ATS have simply had the life sucked out of them this season, and they have never been a team that finishes strong to end the year as they are 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 finales. The Bears are 8-3-1 ATS on the road vs. a team with a losing home record in their last 12, and have covered four straight vs. the Vikings. Play on Chicago.
