The Chicago Bears have split a couple of high-scoring games and bring a 1-1 NFL preseason record to Oakland. There has been a lot of scoring through the first two weeks in these games, and the oddsmakers have jacked the totals again. Oakland has a few choices at quarterback, but I think in the end that Matt Flynn will win the battle. Flynn was impressive in filling in for Aaron Rogers in Green Bay, and was slated to be a starter in Seattle until Russell Wilson started with a bang. Flynn is 16-21 with a TD and 161 yards, and has looked good. The Bears scored 33 points against San Diego, despite gaining just 185 yards on offense. In their two games they have averaged just 238 yards per game. This is a team that like last year, will win games with their defense. Chicago went through a seven game stretch a year ago allowing just 79 points - until injuries gutted their defense. I look for a low-scoring and close game here. Oakland already owns a win as a dog this season vs. Dallas, and the Raiders won here last year in the week 3 dress rehearsal also as a dog. Take Oakland and and play on the UNDER.
