Carolina at Tampa Bay

It's double revenge for Carolina, which lost two close games to the Buccaneers last season and Tampa Bay has not covered the spread since its first game of this season. The Bucs are coming off three straight losses, including 30-27 at Buffalo last week when the Bills racked up 173 rushing yards on 5.2 yards per carry.  Jameis Winston was 32 of 44 for 384 yards, but the defense has allowed an average of 28.8 points the last five games. In fact, Carolina holds a big defensive edge in this matchup as the Panthers are #3 in the NFL allowing 261.9 yards per game while the Buccaneers are #30 giving up 408.5 yards per contest.  Tampa Bay has gone OVER four of its last five games and the Panthers have soared OVER four of their last five.  Carolina dominated the Bears statistically, but were done in by big plays by Chicago on offense and defense. Carolina has covered the number six of the last eight meetings overall and the last four at Tampa Bay.  Also, the Panthers are 5-1 ATS their last six road games and 4-1 ATS their last five after a loss dating to last season.  The Buccaneers are 22-47-1 ATS their last 70 home games and the Panthers usually bounce back from a weak offensive showing as they are 20-7-2 OVER their last 29 games after scoring fewer than 15 points their previous game.
