Carolina at New Orleans

New Orleans has won three in a row and it has all but been eliminated from the playoffs unless the NFL decides to go to an extra team due to the Bills-Bengals Monday night game being canceled. Carolina will not be in the postseason no matter what happens, but the players have some motivation as they would like to go out on a good note for interim coach Steve Wilks, who they would prefer to be there next year although that is unlikely. The Panthers kept it close against Tampa Bay, but were eventual victims of Tom Brady and Mike Evans, who caught 10 passes for 207 yards, including touchdowns of 63,57 and 30 yards. The Saints beat Philadelphia 20-10 as the Eagles played without Jalen Hurts and Andy Dalton completed his first 13 passes and threw for 204 yards for New Orleans. The Panthers are 7-3 ATS the past 10 meetings, including a 22-14 victory on Sept. 25. Carolina has gone OVER four straight overall and four of five on the road and they are on a 5-2 ATS run. The Saints are 1-4 ATS versus the NFC South and the road team is 29-14 ATS the past 43 meetings. Carolina has averaged 26 points its past five games and Sam Darnold threw for 341 yards against the Buccaneers. Take the Panthers and the OVER.
