Carolina at Atlanta

Atlanta has become somewhat of a joke this season, and it's surprising there hasn't been a shakeup in the coaching ranks as the Falcons are 0-4, have blown two huge fourth-quarter leads, and they come off a 30-16 loss to the Packers on Monday Night. The Falcons are second-to-last in team defense while giving up 34.5 points per game. Carolina is going in another direction, winning its last two games against the Los Angeles Chargers and Arizona, both as an underdog. The wrong team is favored in this game as the Panthers are #11 in yards allowed and #12 in total yards gained even without the injured Christian McCaffrey. Teddy Bridgewater threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score in the victory over the Cardinals. Mike Davis filled in for McCaffrey and had 111 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown, and the Panthers defense held Kyler Murray to 133 yards passing. Carolina is 5-1 ATS its last six October games and Atlanta is 1-5 ATS its last six games in Week 5 and 7-19 ATS its last 26 October games.
