Buffalo at Pittsburgh

Are you impressed with the new-look Buffalo offense? No one is. After making huge changes in the offseason, they had 303 total yards at Carolina, one turnover and were 4-12 on third down. That's mainly because the QB rotation is lousy with Manuel, Teul and Lewis. At least the defense held run-oriented Carolina to 69 yards and 2.9 yards per rush. It's hard to see the Buffalo offense doing much this week against a deep, young, and fast Pittsburgh defense on their own turf. The Steelers contained the Giants last week, but the offense was out of sync, going 2-of-14 on third down. After Big Ben, they have weak QBs with Bruce Gradkowski and Landry Jones. This offense has scored 16, 10, 13, 20 (in OT) and 13 points its last five preseason games. The Steelers have a ball-control philosophy, and with the improvement of the offensive line in the second half of last season, this is another good opportunity to establish the run. All of which will mean keeping the clock moving with little scoring. Grab the UNDER.
