You have to give kudos to the Bills as they started 0-8 and could have easily folded their tent, cashed in their chips, and melted away the rest of the season. To their credit they rose up and have gone 4-3 in their last seven and have played with renewed energy. Much of it is due to an improving QB in Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Jets have made the playoffs, so they will likely not be a very intense squad here. Buffalo will be hungry to keep the momentum going and overturn a 38-14 defeat at the hands of the Jets early in the season. The Bills defense has allowed 30 points or more eight times this season. Regardless of who plays for the Jets, they are likely to get some points while the Bills feel token resistance should score a bunch here too. After starting the season strong, the Jets defense has shown some major flaws. Over their last four games, New York has allowed an average of 309 yards and 28 points per game! The Jets are 15-5-1 to the OVER in their last two vs. the AFC, and the Bills are 4-1 to the OVER in their last five on field turf. In addition, New York is a scoring machine when facing weak pass defenses. They are a perfect 9-0 OVER this season vs. defenses that allow 61%+ pass completion. This one tops the total.
