The Lions have had a lot of coaches in recent years, and the pressure to win in the preseason was certainly greater than it was for most teams. They ended a long term of futility by making the playoffs last year, and Jim Schwartz has taken the pedal off the metal, so to speak, and is just 1-2 here. The Lions played Buffalo in week 4 a year ago after scoring 30+ in their first three, but pulled back for a 16-6 win. There are even more reasons to pull back this year. Chan Gailey has not won in week four in his first two years here in Buffalo. In fact, the offense obviously has not been a point of emphasis, as his Bills have scored 14 points or less in six of their last seven games. Neither team seems to have any reason - coaching or otherwise, to do anything here except shorten the game and get to week 1 healthy. Play on the UNDER.
