Buffalo at Denver

Chan Gailey can't be happy with what he saw from his four QBs last week that combined to average barely over 4 yards per attempt on 32 pass plays. Gailey was aggressive last season with a wide-open passing attack, employing four wide receivers at times. I look for the Bills to open things up more here, as the Bears’ defense was much better than a Denver defense that allowed 24 points last week. Dallas went for 264 yards in the air last week with three TDs. John Fox changes addresses, as he wore out his welcome in Carolina, and will take over the Broncos with a known conservative style. That conservative style was once aggressive in the preseason in his early years, but the loss to Dallas makes his teams now 1-9 in their last 10 preseason games. That, along with a defense still learning a new system, is enough for me to grab the points and back Buffalo in this one.
