Buffalo at Chicago

The Buffalo Bills have had trouble competing in both the AFC East, and overall vs. the rest of the league. The Bills have gotten to 10 wins in just three of the last 23 seasons. They will be hard-pressed to get to six or seven wins this season, and will likely reside in the basement of the AFC East at season end. The Bears will have to be better on defense this season if they want to compete with Green Bay in the NFC North. They may well be better as the Bears added Jared Allen and Lamarr Houston at defensive end, along with M.D. Jennings and Ryan Mundy at safety. It certainly looks like the Bears have addressed their defensive shortcomings from a last season to some extent. They should certainly be able to close the door on the Buffalo Bills at home. The Bills are 12-5-1 to the UNDER in their last 18 on grass, and have seen slow offensive starts in season openers, leading them to an 11-4 mark to the UNDER in their last 15 season openers. The Bears are slow starters on the offensive end as well at 7-3 to the UNDER in their last 10.Take the UNDER in this one.
